Where the concept comes from
For years, the Smart City discourse put technology at the center: sensors, data, and automation as synonymous with "progress."
From AsoPMR (Association of Persons with Reduced Mobility), we promote the Wise Human City paradigm as a critical response: the city is not an IoT board, it is a social ecosystem. Being "wise" implies judgment, ethics, participation, and equity, not just technical efficiency.
Here, technology is a means; the end is rights, accessibility, well-being, and sustainability.

What Wise Human City means
A Wise Human City is an evolution of the Smart City: it is not limited to being "smart" in technical terms, but incorporates collective wisdom and places the person at the center, integrating human value into urban design, governance, and technology.
In practice, it means:

Mobility is the thermometer of a wise city: if moving is difficult for a part of the population, the city fails.
